Bring items that need repair and work on them in the company of slow fashion lovers. We’ll have needles, thread, other sewing/fibers tools (incliding sewing machine for experienced sewists). Learn from each other and problemsolve as you go. Feel free to knit, crochet, embroider and more alongside the menders. / $10; Members Free
May 12 (cancelled), May 19, May 26, June 2 – Dead Sweaters Workshop with Libby Barringer (or BYOProject)
This is a sewing bee that uses a specific material: the favorite sweater that was laundered by mistake or fell victim to too many moths to darn. We will be using Libby’s extensive collection of wool knitwear scraps, washed and felted to cut, stitch, decorate and brainstorm into future creations.

Focus on a project of your own in the company of other work-from-homies, freelancers, and creative souls. Use your laptop, sketchbook, make a collage, and more. You’ll have access to our crafting tools, sewing machine, scanner, printer, and wifi. Plus a complimentary coffee, tea, or seltzer. / $15 (materials + craft bar extra)

Cut and paste a materpiece using our collection of secondhand papers and magazines, or join us in another papercraft project for the week. We’ll provide you with optional prompts and design constraints to challenge your approach and create with curiosity, openness, and intention. Materials provided. / $20
