Knitting with Repurposed Fabric – Helix Bag Knit-Along with Avu Vintage
A three-session workshop using the popular Rows shoulder bag pattern. Learn to make yarn from old fabrics, try a unique stitch pattern, and come away with a cute bag and a new communty of fiber artists. Ideal for advanced-beginner and intermediate knitters.

Join us in the studio for discounted co-working every Friday. Bring your laptop, sketchbook, craft project, or notebook and spend some time creating. You’ll have access to our tools and materials to support your projects. Plus – coffee, tea, seltzer and relaxing music.

The session will include a quiet portion to create, followed by time to share a sample of your work and get light feedback from the group. *Arrive early for silent reading from 6-6:30pm at no extra cost. / $10

Sew, knit, crochet, mend and more in the company of fellow fiber artists of all levels. Want to learn to knit? Join Alison in the Lounge at 6:30 for a beginner knitting class for a portion of the evening to get you started. You can borrow tools (including a sewing machine) and purchase materials, or bring your own. / $10 (beginner knitting class +$10)

Cut and paste a materpiece using our collection of secondhand papers and magazines, or join us in another papercraft project for the week. We’ll provide you with optional prompts and design constraints to challenge your approach and create with curiosity, openness, and intention. Materials provided. / $20
