Join us in the studio for discounted co-working every Friday. Bring your laptop, sketchbook, craft project, or notebook and spend some time creating. You’ll have access to our tools and materials to support your projects. Plus – coffee, tea, seltzer and relaxing music.

mondays / writing studio

with Sasha Patkin
Bring a writing project you’re working on, or get inspired through activities and prompts. The session will include a quiet portion to create, followed by time to share a sample of your work and get light feedback from the group. *Arrive early for silent reading from 6-6:30pm at no extra cost.    /    $10

wednesdays / drawing studio

with Jonny Hiya

A structured figure drawing class to refine and develop your skills and personal style. The class will focus on speed, muscle memory, gesture flow, and visual vocabulary. All materials are provided, but you are welcome to bring your canvas and approved medium of choice.    /    $25 full class or $10 for long-pose figure drawing only from 7:30-8:30pm

Join us for a special co-working session on Halloween Day – Tasks & Treats.

An optional costumed workday, extra snacks and crafts, plus access to tools and supplies for last-minute costume construction.

Costume categories we love for the costume contest (winner announced after 7pm on 10/31):

  • Favorite artist or work of art (any and all art forms!)

  • Nature/animals and natural phenomena

  • Sustainability & earth advocacy

  • Extra points for costumes that utilize reuse/repair!

Focus on a project of your own in the company of other work-from-homies, freelancers, and creative souls. Use your laptop, sketchbook, make a collage, and more. You’ll have access to our crafting tools, sewing machine, scanner, printer, and wifi. Plus a complimentary coffee, tea, or seltzer.  /    $10 (materials + craft bar extra)

(Full craft bar on Sundays – we often have collage and one additional craft available on Fridays.)

tuesdays / fiber arts studio

with Avu Studio
Sew, knit, crochet, mend and more in the company of fellow fiber artists of all levels. Want to learn to knit? Join Alison in the Lounge at 6:30 for a beginner knitting class for a portion of the evening to get you started. You can  borrow tools (including a sewing machine) and purchase materials, or bring your own.    /    $5 (beginner knitting class +$15)

thursdays / collage & paper art studio

with Emily

Cut and paste a materpiece using our collection of secondhand papers and magazines, or join us in another papercraft project for the week. We’ll provide you with optional prompts and design constraints to challenge your approach and create with curiosity, openness, and intention. Materials provided.    /    $15 

sundays / drop-in craft bar (+co-working)

Reimagine the use and beauty of forgotten items, or combine your creativity and personal style to create with materials we have in abundance. Stop in with friends for a chill afternoon of sustainable art-making. Expect your choice of 2-4 rotating activities (collage is always one of them) of varying levels of complexity.    /    $10–$25

Our current crafts (while supplies last):

  • Create your own herbal tea blend ($20pp - one 3oz jar) – Not available 10/12

  • Create your own watercolor pallette with secondhand resources ($15pp)

  • Make a collage or decoupage a 3D form ($15pp)

All crafts include a 90 minute reservation.

Co-working rates: Sundays / $10 (up to 90-min) - $20 (up to 4-hours)
