Currently on exhibit at Still Life Studios is the work of April B. Rosenberg, including the Earth Angels – Altars to the Elements series.
On Sunday, April 6th from 1:30pm – 4pm, visit the studio to meet the artist and participate in an optional donation-based craft activity based on the series.
Rosenberg will also lead the Exploring feminine archetypes through collage (re)workshop on Tuesday, April 1st.

Earth Angels – Altars to the Elements

This mixed media series by April B. Rosenberg combines photographs of angel imagery from historic gravestones in Salem, MA with collaged elements representing the Earth. Some items are foraged for in nature, while and others are sourced from books. Each reinvented Earth Spirit has its own unique personality, celebrating some of the most beautiful and inspiring elements of place, reclaimed from a dark history.
April B. Rosenberg is an ecofeminist artist. She works in mediums such as collage, poetry, jewelry and shell-craft. She uses found items to explore ecological impact and our spiritual connection to objects, especially those of the natural variety.
